| Summary: | Climate change is the biggest challenge to the sustainable development of the UK and the world as a whole. The UK is rightly held up as one of the very few countries in the world addressing this challenge today in a systematic way, with the UK Climate Change Programme being the Government’s core mechanism for tackling the issue. In this audit we commend the inclusion in the Programme of specific and challenging targets, and measures to achieve them. |
