NHS Wales takes a major step forward

The Department of Health and Social Services has reconstituted its top level Steering Group for Sustainability Development in the NHS in Wales.

SDC to advise on the built environment in Wales

The Welsh Assembly Government has commissioned the Sustainable Development Commission, in partnership with the Design Commission for Wales, to examine what key policy interventions can enable it to deliver on its commitment to zero carbon new buildings in Wales and 3% annual reductions in emissions from the built environment in Wales. On the 10th March, the SDC, convened its first session on the agenda.
