Zero Waste for Scotland

The Sustainable Development Commission welcomes the Scottish Government’s intention to move towards a zero waste society by revising the National Waste Strategy.
The SDC's Scottish Director, Maf Smith commented:
"We welcome the Scottish Government’s ambition for a zero waste society and their intention revise the National Waste Strategy.
"The Sustainable Development Commission looks forward to hearing more detail about today’s announcement and will work with the Government to ensure the strategy looks to wider policies such as planning, enterprise, energy and building regulations so that it leads to a more sustainable Scotland."
