SDC is the government’s official independent advisor on sustainable development, reporting directly to the Prime Minister, to the First Ministers of Wales and Scotland and to the First and Deputy First Ministers of Northern Ireland. Through advocacy, advice, capability building and scrutiny, we help put sustainable development at the core of government policy.

Reporting to the SDC’s Scotland Director, you will work closely with SDC communications and engagement colleagues across the UK to ensure that all aspects of our work are effectively communicated to stakeholders. You understand sustainable development, have a creative approach and can demonstrate a good track record in public relations, communications and engagement.
