The SDC forum is a place for anyone with an interest in Sustainable Development issues to discuss, debate and share knowledge and experiences. Although the site is run by the Sustainable Development Commission it is only moderated as a last resort where posts contain the following:

The SDC forum is actually a group of several forums, each with its own descriptive name. All forums can have several topics which in turn can have many posts.

In order to add your own posts, reply to other posts and send private messages, you must register. Registration is very quick and we require very little of your personal information and never share it with anyone else. A valid email address is required.

To view another members profile, click on their screen name which appears next to all their posts.
The text editor has five buttons to make your posts richer. To use them, click once on the required button, this will create a tag. Enter your text and then click again to close the tags.

Find the post you want to edit, and click the Edit button. Unless you are a moderator, you can only edit your own posts.
You can send private messages to other members of the forum via email. Private messages can be useful if you only want to share something with one member. You can send messages from two locations:
This will take you to a form which will allow you to type your message and choose whether you want to reveal your email address to the other user. If you choose not to do this, a link will be provided in the message so that they can reply to you using the private messaging functionality on the forum.
